How good is food, like seriously?
I absolutely love food and all it involves. Cooking it, sharing food with loved ones, sourcing ingredients but most importantly I love looking after myself and nourishing my body.
One of the most frustrating things I’ve found and also everyone I’ve worked with is trying to navigate through the overload of information on nutrition and what to eat that is readily available online and on top of that each individual that works in health & fitness has a slightly different opinion which doesn’t help.
Where’s the enjoyment?
If you worry about what to eat day in day out and it’s consuming half your thoughts for the day and you’re trying so hard to achieve your goals there’s absolutely no chance you’re going to enjoy the journey to get there.
I’m not saying that it’s going to be comfortable to make changes, of course you need to get uncomfortable for the transformation to happen.
But the “How” can make a big difference.
How do you feel about educating yourself about food, being able to keep eating the foods you like, tuning in with your body so you understand what it’s telling you as opposed to starting the next diet plan, restricting your food intake and missing out on all the enjoyment, all for you to end up at the starting point again because there was no learning curve with any of those quick fixes…
Long-term results are way more magical!
It can be so much better! Building a routine that works for you, exercise and nutrition and having that foundation that you can fall back on after any setback will give you that long-term transformation that you’re after.
The cream on top of the ice cream is that you’ll learn a hell lot about yourself!
