My favourite breakfast smoothie

Sometimes there is just not enough time to have a proper meal in the morning or we may simply have to get up too early to sit down and eat.

What I often do is to have a smoothie jam packed with protein and good fats to keep me going for a couple of hours until I get the time to sit down and eat properly.

Here is my favourite recipe for you to give a go:

Protein + Almond butter smoothie:

  • 1 scoop of your favourite protein powder
  • 1 flat tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 cup raw almond milk/ raw coconut milk (e.g. “Inside Out”)
  • small handful frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cacao
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • (1 tsp honey if you need it sweeter)
